About the role
As an India Public Sector Account Executive at Anthropic, you'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI within the Indian government and public sector space, establishing and growing our presence in this strategic market. You'll leverage your consultative sales expertise and deep understanding of the Indian public sector landscape to propel revenue growth while becoming a trusted partner to customers, helping them embed and deploy AI while uncovering its full range of capabilities. In collaboration with GTM, product, policy, and marketing teams, you'll help define our market entry strategy and value proposition for the Indian public sector.
Responsibilities
Lead Anthropic's market entry and expansion in the Indian public sector, establishing our presence and building relationships with key stakeholders across central and state government departments, ministries, and agencies
Own the full sales cycle for Indian public sector opportunities, from initial outreach through to successful deployment, with a focus on building long-term strategic partnerships
Navigate the unique procurement requirements, security standards, and compliance frameworks specific to Indian government technology adoption, including GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and other procurement channels
Collaborate with policy teams to ensure alignment with Indian government AI strategies, the IndiaAI Mission, and Digital India initiatives
Engage actively with government-led AI initiatives, including participation in forums like the India AI Impact Summit and state-level AI conferences
