This team will focus on building quantitative models to trade around professional sports. Conduct rigorous statistical and economic research using alternative and traditional data sources to develop new alpha signals Own the end-to-end research process in close collaboration with the supervising Portfolio Manager, including data ingestion and processing, exploratory analysis, methodology selection, implementation and testing, prototyping, and performance evaluation Enhance and extend AQR’s proprietary research platform to support and implement new research ideas What You’ll Bring: B.S. degree or advanced degree from a top institution in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research or another quantitative discipline. 6+ years of experience working in a data driven research environment with a focus on model development and forecasting Strong coding and data analytics skills Awareness or experience in trading prediction markets is a plu
