Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Senior Digital Assets Compliance Officer to join our team in Amsterdam. The successful candidate has strong experience in regulatory analysis and business advisory within digital asset markets. What you will do
Analyze existing and upcoming digital assets related regulations (EU and global), assess their impact on our business, and translate them into clear and pragmatic business requirements
Act as the primary Compliance contact for our digital assets trading teams, advising on digital assets-specific compliance matters
Support and contribute to new digital assets product launches, market expansions, and business development initiatives
Engage with regulators, exchanges, trading venues, and other market infrastructure providers active in the digital asset ecosystem
Respond to regulatory inquiries and coordinate internal and external audits related to digital assets activities
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls for digital asset trading
Deliver compliance training across the organization with a focus on digital asset markets and products
Actively foster a strong compliance culture within a fast-growing and innovative digital assets environment
What you need to succeed
A university degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
At least 8 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory advisory, or risk within financial markets, with a strong focus on digital assets
Extensive knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to digital asset trading, including (but not limited to):
MiCAR
Digital assets-specific related EU and global regulatory developments
AML, FATF Travel rule
MiFID II
Proven experience in designing and structuring regulatory frameworks in complex and evolving regulatory environm
