About the opportunity
As part of the Banking Operations group you will be part of a team of motivated professionals with the objective to ensure and lead initiatives within operational readiness, governance and improvements. You will foster synergies and collaboration throughout the company while driving initiatives that improve quality and efficiency.
In this role, you will:
Oversee readiness, governance, and process improvements across Banking Operations
Drive and support governance activities by monitoring adherence to processes, regulatory requirements, and risk controls
Work closely with Banking Operations leadership to define and track key metrics and OKRs that shape operational success
Carry the voice of the customer in collaboration with others, initiate and implement actions in order to improve the quality of services delivered to our customers
Help the operational teams with the analysis of incidents, and implement workarounds to effectively manage any current and future risks
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Compliance, Outsourcing Partners, etc) to ensure smooth execution and alignment of operational initiatives
Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes, standardize workflows, and drive automation initiatives
What you need to be successful:
Experience in banking operations, service delivery, or a related function with exposure to governance, risk, and readiness
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
A professional banking education/background or a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, a related field or comparable working experience
The ability to focus on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a comprehensive vision of the big picture
A strong analytical mindset (SQL experience is a plus) and ability to independently leverage data for prioritisation and decision making
