About the team The AI Startups team is focused on one of Stripe’s most strategic growth areas: enabling the monetization and scaling of AI-native and AI-enabled businesses. We are in a unique position to partner with the most ambitious AI companies at the forefront of artificial intelligence. Our team collaborates across infrastructure, foundational models, agents, and applications to support these companies in their growth and global commercialization using Stripe’s comprehensive financial stack. What you’ll do Responsibilities Own contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations to increase revenue and market share among existing customers. Develop and implement sales cycle strategies to drive product adoption, new sales, and client retention at scale. Address complex client needs by collaborating with product, sales, risk, and operations teams to enhance our offerings. Build and refine the go-to-market playbook for AI monetization and usage-based billing (UBB), including segmentation, messaging, sales strategy, and pipeline generation. Engage with AI founders and industry influencers to position Stripe as the preferred infrastructure for monetizing AI. Represent Stripe in market-facing activities (e.g., hackathons, webinars, events) to elevate our presence in the AI and billing ecosystem. Who you are We’re looking for
